VBW Engineering introduces a new type of air handling units – SPS-COMPACT
We would like to present the company’s newest product – the SPS-COMPACT compact suspended air handling unit. Its special features make it ideal for use in residential buildings, offices, schools, kindergartens, gyms, restaurants and as an optional design for swimming pool facilities and health care facilities. It is characterised by high energy efficiency with a wide capacity range (300 m3/h ÷ 4500 m3/h) allowing for heat recovery of up to 93%. The unit has compact dimensions and a self-supporting casing construction with 30 mm (optional 50 mm) insulation, allowing installation in locations previously inaccessible to this type of installation.
SPS-COMPACT is equipped with a heater – water or electric – built inside the unit. Thanks to this, the unit easily adapts to the target room and has smaller dimensions. The unquestionable advantage of the device is the application of a modern and safe, self-regulating electric heater based on PTC heaters, which facilitates maintenance of a significantly lower radiator temperature, complete elimination of the risk of overheating the system and obtaining a large heat exchange surface. Safe transport and the possibility of exchanging the exchanger from the bottom is possible through the use of water heater connection nozzles that do not protrude from the casing.
The basic options of the device provide for factory wiring and configuration on a Plug&Play basis. The panel filters applied in this type of air handling unit with compact dimensions make it possible to achieve highly efficient air filtration.
SPS-COMPACT offers the possibility of expanding the system with additional functions such as dehumidification, humidification, additional filtration stages and, like all devices of VBW Engineering, is adapted to the needs of customers, e.g. it is possible to produce devices in various colours.
