Product features

Type SPS suspended HVAC is a full air handling unit for ventilation and air conditioning of industrial rooms, warehouse rooms, wholesale operations rooms, workshops, and office spaces. They comprise a wide selection of components for handling and delivery of air within project-specific performance limits. The HVAC units are manufactured as monoblock units, resulting in compact sizes, a critical feature for installation beneath suspended ceiling systems. The configuration of components and integrated automatic controls of the HVAC unit ensure indoor comfort is maintained in all rooms.

  • filter classes: G4, M5, F7, F9, H11
  • self-supporting structure
  • removable covers (easy access)
  • wide range of parameter configurations
  • compact dimensions
  • quiet operation (insulation up to 70mm)
  • High-quality thermal and acoustic properties
  • possibility to set the unit on legs
  • full automation
  • Plug&Play system (full internal wiring)

Construction

The design of the SPS suspended HVAC units is based on a self-supporting shell. The unit’s enclosure is formed by type C shell panels and removable panels. The panels of the HVAC unit are made of aluzinc outer metal sheets and galvanised inner sheets forming the cladding for a mineral wool core. The mineral wool core has good thermal insulating and sound attenuating performance. The standard mineral wool core thickness is 50 mm. 70 mm is optional and available on order.

The HVAC units are provided with flexible duct connectors which isolate the vibration transmitted by the ductwork on site. The suspended HVAC units can be installed on support feet, in which case service access is only provided from the top.
