Product features

Garage air handling units are intended for ventilation of garages and underground car parks. They are used to remove air polluted with carbon monoxide and all kinds of sulphur and lead compounds contained in car engine exhaust gases. The garage ventilation units are equipped with two equally sized fan units. They make it possible to remove excessive concentrations of exhaust gases and maintain the air at a suitable level. In normal conditions, when the concentration of exhaust fumes is low, one fan unit operates. When the concentration of pollutants increases, which is registered by the CO concentration sensor, the second fan unit is activated. The amount of extracted air then doubles. The air handling units are produced in the form of monoblocks as a standard, thanks to which the overall dimensions of the units are limited.

Construction

BD-G
A skeleton panel casing is a structure consisting of aluminium profiles and corners forming a skeleton structure to which covers are attached, removable panels. External casings are made of external aluzinc sheet, the internal is galvanised on both sides. Insulation is mineral wool, standard insulation thickness 50 mm. The floor is insulated from below with plates consisting of two layers of steel sheet filled with mineral wool insulation on the inside with the difference that both sheets are galvanised on both sides. BD-G are equipped with their own frame of 80 mm height. BD-G outdoor units are also equipped with air outlets, roof and dampers placed inside the unit and flexible stubs isolating the unit from vibrations transmitted by the ducts.

SPS-G
SPS-G suspended garage units are made in a self-supporting construction. The unit’s enclosure is formed by type C shell panels and removable panels. The panels of the HVAC unit are made of aluzinc outer metal sheets and galvanised inner sheets forming the cladding for a mineral wool core. The 50 mm thick mineral wool core has good thermal insulating and sound attenuating performance. The HVAC units are provided with flexible duct connectors which isolate the vibration transmitted by the ductwork on site.
